What is the Rent A Hobby Return Policy?

 

At Rent A Hobby we understand that although you may have planned a great trip/experience with us, things pop up and you may need to cancel or reschedule your booking. To accommodate such situations, we offer full refunds on cancelations made up to 48 hours before your booking. Unfortunately, cancellations made within 48 hours of your booking cannot be refunded, since the retailer will not have the appropriate time to repurpose the ordered equipment for another rental within those same days.

 

What are the shipping options?

 

Rent A Hobby currently does not have any shipping options. All bookings are to be picked up and dropped off in person at the preapproved location decided by you and your retailer.

 

How do I make sure I order the right size?

 

When ordering gear for all types of activities it is important to remember the different sizes equipment can come in. We are hard at work creating a sizing chart for all our customers to better assist you in determining which size gear is the best fit for you. In the meantime, please reach out to your retailer on what size they think works best for you.

Can I make changes to an order I already placed?

 

Changes to an order may be requested, and will be approved, up to 48 hours before the booking date. This includes adding and/or subtracting an item to an order, as well as cancelling or rescheduling your booking entirely.

Contacting a Rent A Hobby retailer is very simple. Attached to each listed item there will be a retailer/vendor. You may view the retailer/vendors profile page and from there message them with any questions or concerns you may have prior to booking a reservation.

 

How do I book an item on Rent A Hobby?

 

In order to book an item on Rent A Hobby you must first confirm your account information by submitting a photo ID and payment method. Once completed, you may proceed to booking your items. Bookings can be made via the Rent A Hobby Website Only.

 

What is the Rent A Hobby cancellation policy?

 

Rent A Hobbys cancellation policy is the same as our refund policy. Any orders cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the time/date of booking will receive a full refund upon cancellation. All cancellations within 48 hours of your booking will result in no refund, this is to ensure we protect our retailers as well and their commitment to providing quality gear and quality service.

 

Who can 'Rent Out' on Rent A Hobby?

 

 Anyone can ‘Rent Out’ on the Rent A Hobby platform, from locals who have a ton of gear on their hands, to retailers looking for another avenue to rent out their inventory of items. Once your account is approved you will be able to list your own items and determine your own per day rental amount.

 

Do you have gift cards?

 

At the moment, Rent A Hobby does not offer any gift card options. This is something that we at Rent A Hobby are excited about introducing in the future.

 

How do I track my order?

 

Tracking your Rent A Hobby order is simple. All you have to do is log into your Rent A Hobby account and access your profile page, you will find listed there all your open and past orders. You also have the ability to message your retailer directly from the order screen/profile screen.
